Viewing of Television and Video: Steele Cooperative Preschool (SCP) does not
generally view television or videos in the classrooms. A laptop, tablet, or personal
electronic device may be utilized in the classroom as an extension of learning or to
support discussions. An example of this might be a group discussion of the ocean and
the creatures who live there. A teacher may then use the classroom laptop or another
device to show students images of ocean life. We also listen to music, movement, and
dance CDs as well as books on tape as a part of our classes.
